Snail (Archachatina marginata) is highly prized in Nigeria as a rich source of protein, low in fat and contain amino acids and iron. Fried, grilled, dried, buttered or cooked in stock, giant snails are found in many dishes and sauces throughout West Africa. We source our snails from accredited snail farms. They are exported either live or frozen depending on the country’s regulations.
